This is my first animated film, and it explores the deep connection between humans and their environment through the story of a nomad on a “spiritual journey” across the landscape. Throughout his journey, his identity intertwines with and merges into the beauty of the environment, revealing an intimate transformation. To bring this work to life, I drew upon visual and auditory recordings collected during several trips to the mountains of Cusco, integrating these experiences to create a sensory and evocative experience.
